GA GlobalAdmit

This policy applies to the GlobalAdmit website and dashboard.

This Privacy Policy applies to GlobalAdmit’s public pages, login flow, and authenticated dashboard experience, including profile scoring, university preference management, application planning, application status tracking, and task management.

GlobalAdmit stores the information you choose to enter into the platform.

Depending on how you use the service, GlobalAdmit may collect and store: your email address and authentication details; academic information such as IGCSE or GCSE subjects and grades, IB or A-Level selections and results, SAT or ACT scores, and test-optional preferences; extracurricular activity information; campus and university preference inputs; selected application rounds and statuses; and admissions-related tasks such as title, type, due date, estimated hours, priority, and completion state.

Some technical information is processed to operate the service.

Like most web applications, GlobalAdmit and its infrastructure providers may process technical information such as session identifiers, authentication events, browser requests, IP-related metadata, and basic device or network information needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

Information is used to provide the product you signed up to use.

GlobalAdmit uses personal information to create and authenticate your account, maintain your dashboard session, save your profile and planning data, calculate internal profile scores, organize your university selections, persist task records, and display your saved information when you return.

Information may also be used to maintain security, prevent misuse, debug issues, comply with legal obligations, and improve product reliability.

GlobalAdmit also uses non-user reference data to support planning features.

The application loads university reference information from GlobalAdmit’s University dataset, including items such as deadlines, campus characteristics, aid labels, and planner thresholds. This reference data is used to power planner, fit, and status workflows and is separate from the personal information you provide.

Information is shared with infrastructure providers only as needed to run the product.

GlobalAdmit currently relies on Supabase for authentication and database storage. If Google sign-in is enabled and you choose to use it, account authentication data is also processed through Google’s OAuth flow. GlobalAdmit does not describe itself as selling your personal information for advertising purposes through this app experience.

Data is retained for as long as needed to operate your account and comply with obligations.

GlobalAdmit retains account and dashboard data for as long as your account remains active, unless a longer retention period is reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup recovery. Retention periods may vary by data type and provider.

You can update much of your information inside the app.

You can edit many profile fields, application records, and task entries directly from the dashboard. If you want your account or stored data deleted, GlobalAdmit should provide a support or legal contact method for those requests. If no such contact is published, you should not assume deletion requests can yet be processed automatically.

Reasonable steps are taken to protect stored information.

GlobalAdmit uses third-party authentication and storage infrastructure intended to support secure account access and persistence. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you use the service with that understanding.

Your information may be processed where service providers operate.

Because GlobalAdmit uses cloud infrastructure and may serve international students across jurisdictions, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the one where you reside, subject to the practices of the relevant service providers.

The service is intended for students and families using admissions planning tools.

GlobalAdmit is aimed at applicants and their families, but account holders should use the service only where they can lawfully do so. If local law requires parental or guardian involvement for a minor to use an online service, that responsibility remains with the user and family.

This Privacy Policy may be updated over time.

GlobalAdmit may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the product, data flows, providers, or legal requirements. When updates are posted, the effective date on this page will also be updated.

Questions or privacy requests should be sent through GlobalAdmit’s published contact channel.

If you publish a support or privacy contact for GlobalAdmit, that channel should be used for requests about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy-related matters.
